Clinical background
Disease: Amoebiasis
Symptoms: May be asymptomatic; diarrhea, dysentery, abdominal pain, weight loss, fever and other symptoms depending on the location of the cysts
Mechanism of Infection: Oral-fecal; infection by oral uptake of eggs.
