MASTDISCS® AST Pefloxacin 5 µg discs for antimicrobial susceptibility testing by disc diffusion.
- 6 mm filter paper discs impregnated with an accurately assayed quantity of the antimicrobial agent and printed with an identification code.
- Supplied as 5 cartridges of 50 discs — 250 discs per pack — for use with the MAST® DiscMaster dispenser or sterile forceps.
- To be used with a standardised susceptibility test method on a suitable medium, for example Mueller-Hinton agar, with recognised interpretive criteria.
- Store as indicated on the label. Allow the container to equilibrate to room temperature before opening and return it to the refrigerator promptly after use.
