- For the qualitative direct detection of gastrointestinal colonisation with Clostridioides difficile, to support prevention and control in healthcare settings.
- Read under UV light after 24 hours of anaerobic incubation at 35–37 °C.
- Supplied as 20 poured plates. Store at 2–8 °C until the expiry date on the label.
- Not intended to diagnose infection or to guide or monitor treatment. Absence of fluorescent colonies does not exclude C. difficile; suspect colonies need further identification, susceptibility testing and typing.
